Gun death and the
answer to the American question…..
So I woke up again and read
about the horrible murders in the states….oh, sorry must be more specific, the
school shootings…..More specific again? The ones in Florida….Darn it, the one
in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High school in Broward county Florida. But don’t worry
if you won’t remember it. The US is averaging a mass shooting every other day,
so the next one is due up by Friday…and this time it may be in a school near
you…so it will make it memorable!
My point is that you simply cannot
look at the stats without shaking your head and thinking “WTF is wrong with
these people”! Now as a Canadian with sensible gun laws I tend to think of the ‘merican
cousins as morons, that’s not fair actually…suicidal morons! At what point will they shake their head and
realize that Russia, Jihadists and others are not the biggest things to fear in
the US. Its themselves! I watch truly “touched” people on youtube walking
around with assault rifles yelling how they are exercising their right to bare
arms but they don’t actually know the Constitution or they have a convenient interpretation
of the whole thing.
First off the second amendment
word for word is “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of
a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be
infringed.”. Let’s break that down like
a math problem. First off “A regulated Militia”….Yah, not so much. These Putz
balls are wandering around with fire arms….not well regulated nor a Militia,
ergo they are just armed morons! “Being
necessary to the security of a free state” I get it, if a government body were
to step in, like England and try and make them a subservient nation again. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!“the right of the people
to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed” IF you are a member of a
Militia, not regular army mind you but a “WELL REGULATED MILITIA” then you can
have a gun! NOT The mentally unstable or those that JUST BLOODY WELL WANT ONE….the
second Amendment does NOT say you can just own a gun and you can do what you
want, it says you have to be a member of
the MILITIA.
A Militia is by definition a
Military force that is raised from the civil population to supplement a regular
army in an emergency or all able bodied civilians eligible by law for military
service. Ergo you must be part of a group…not just some shmow who wants to
carry a gun! Then you have the militia act of 1792.
That each and every free able-bodied white male
citizen of the respective States, resident therein, who is or shall be of age
of eighteen years, and under the age of forty-five years (except as is herein
after excepted) shall severally and respectively be enrolled in the militia,
... every citizen, so enrolled and notified, shall, within six months
thereafter, provide himself with a good musket or firelock.
Again, if you want to join the
militia you can have a musket or firelock, not a bloody AR-17! You don’t need those for hunting, you don’t have
the right to carry them PERIOD. The law does not step in and halt that due to
the fact that the gun lobby paid and pays every politician off. If Russia, a Jihadist or any other country
wants to take the states by storm, simply dump CHEAP fire arms into the market
for a few years and wait for them to kill each other off, take out their own
government and then bomb them….no government left and a military trying to
police its own people, it will be easy! Some red neck moron from Dallas is not going
to be much of a match for a well-trained military, be it American or Russian….and
with Trump in power it’s a 50/50 chance who will take Texas.
Again, for those that think I am
Anti-gun, NO. I love shooting and I love using other peoples fire arms, they
are safe and I honestly do not own one because I don’t want to spend the money
SAFELY owning one. I think that they are great for hunting, sport shooting and
such, but NOT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A FIRE ARM! Use your friggin brain, we don’t
let everyone drive, we don’t let anyone fly a plane, we have licenses and
rules, the same should be with guns. Also, it’s illegal to own a working Tank. Why
then is it not illegal to own a military grade riffle….Well, I’m waiting.
Okay, so rhetoric does not dent
your ideals, how about some numbers then….I want to drop a few numbers on you.
First off this is not a total number of those killed by gun violence, this is
school kids, Your children’s age….your niece or nephews age….young kids in elementary
middle and high school. Those you swear are protected…Bullocks! In the modern
century (2000 forwards for those that don’t understand that) in Canada we have
seen 10 kids die in school shootings….and I cheated and added university. That’s
10 “kids” in 18 years. In Mexico, you know big bad Mexico….5. Five kids and
those were drug related in a bad school….in a bad city….in Mexico. You know
that place Trump fears. IN Europe….ALL OF EUROPE…they had a total of 66 in 18
years, that’s all of Europe. ALL OF EUROPE. In Asia….thats ALL OF ASIA….a total
of 22. And Australia…not Austria….2.
HOLLY CRAP 2!What about Africa, well other than militant killings in schools
(which would still only be an additional 189 in 18 years in war torn Africa)….5.
What about the USA, you know the
protector, the world police officer, the first world country that “Shines”….a
total of 259. Ouch, that’s school kids only. 259 young souls sent to the dust
because of an obsession over guns…..think on that…that’s 9 kids a year sacrificed
to gun owners. And what is the response….Pray. Pray for what……and end to the
violence…then pass a bloody law that does that. What you need to do is fire
your politicians, make the fun lobby a terrorist group and just make it safe
again with laws that make bloody sense.
I don’t have to reinvent the
wheel. If you don’t want gun laws like
Canada, or Australia….Great Britian….Japan……Germany or the many others, well
make some up that work for you guys. For gods sake you are embarrassing yourselves!
